Blunder .... Once Again

OK so I was on a high after my last post. Things looked good and the house work is well in progress. Then there was a knock at the door. It was the delivery of our Maharani Table range from John Lewis, which would replace our old dinning table.

The house work has gone well over the scheduled two weeks period. Not that I am upset for the extra days that it is taking for the workman to finish the job, but at this very second my home is covered in dust, and things are strewn all over the place so that the stair way could be done up. So most of the things are piled up in the dining area.

When the dining set got delivered my husband tried to make space in the dinning area. However, with the old dining table and chairs still being there it was a difficult task. In the end he managed to find a place for all the new delivery. One hitch though, we can't maneuver in that area at all. So he came up with the brilliant solution - to move one of our new delivery boxes to the garden. No, it can't be. He cannot come up with such a stupid idea. For those of you who do not know, our garden is an open garden and right now it's raining cats and dogs here in London and he wants to keep the new item in the garden? Couldn't believe he said it. Anyway the point is that I blurted out a comment which I can't take back ever. My reply - "Don't you have any brains?"

Yes, it was uncalled for and I said it in front of the workman doing our stairs. Stupid of me for not knowing when to say what and how. Hope this silence from my dear husband's side does not last for long. I did apologise and apologise I did profusely.....what else can I do? A stupid idea gets a stupid comment
