Its been a busy weekend at the Pillai household. We cleaned up the entire house, did all our laundry, dumped all the garbage at the skip, painted the odd walls, put up the curtains etc and now our home looks absolutely inviting. Of course we are getting everything done in time for my parents arrival on 15th June. This time I will get to celebrate my birthday, dear husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary along with my family.
Dear husband and I, in this house project, have worked together in everything. There are some things that I am good at and others where DH is good at. Together we have managed to cover quite a bit of really tough work and I can say that it was no mean feat. Along the way some things changed, along with working together, we have also become closer and more intimate with each other. I believe that it is a couple that works together (on a project or anything for that matter) that remain together. And this is so true in our case. We have no family or friends around us to help us with anything. There's just him for me and me for him and these few weeks we have been each other's support. I have cried, been depressed and apprehensive about so many trivial matters and all the while he hag hugged me, made love to me and been my shoulder to cry on. I love him for making me feel so very important and needed.
