Its like we have made a pact with each other. Come a weekend and we find something or the other to piss each other's moods out.
This Saturday it was no different. DH dressed up early in the morning to go the gym, but I could not go to the gym 'cause it was that time of the month for me. So DH waited for something like an hour to make up his mind and then decided that we should go to Central London instead to spend some time in a book shop.
So off we go to Ealing to catch the tube. On the way to the underground, I happened to see that Clark's was on sale and got in to check their stock. DH, as usual, did not enter the shop and instead preferred to wait outside. I saw something that I really liked and wanted him to take a look at the piece before I purchased it. I go to the entrance of the shop to show DH the shoes and he made this strange face at me, all because he was so frustrated at waiting outside for me. Anyway, that look on his face was enough for me to lose my temper and I just left the shop without really purchasing the shoe.
For the next hour and half, I adopted two tactics - no talking to him and just brushing aside whatever he said. I just wanted to punish him for making me feel so bad. When we reached the book shop, we went to Costa for a coffee and there I really gave him a piece of my mind. He deserved it!!
At the book shop, I read this really nice novel called "The Last Jews of Kerala" by Edna Fernandes. A good read, especially because it is talks about Kerala, my home. We were at the bookshop for nearly 4 hours and all this while DH did not manage to find anything good to read. He was so bored and kept coming to where I sat to ask me whether we should leave soon. I was too engrossed in the book and being upset with DH. So I really didn't care.
