This is something that happens only in movies. It has never happened to any of my friends and I never expected something like this to happen to me.
I am not even sure how to put this into words. I have been stunned only once before - when my father passed away in July 2011. So I know the drill - you are in a daze and do not know what to do, how to feel, who to talk to.... This time too it's similar but with a huge sense of betrayal.
I believe DH is having an affair or close to an affair. I do not know whether they have done the whole affairy thing. But if his emails are anything to go by then they have gone the whole nine yards.
I found out about it yesterday. And no I have not confronted him as yet.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wrote something else but it just sounds so inane and useless. Good luck with however you choose to deal with this. You're in my thoughts..
Hang in there and take a deep breath and wait till you come to any conclusions. If you do decide to talk about it, be ready to listen until the very end without jumping in. Not because you have to be decent about it but because you won't get to know the whole story or details if you get nasty inbetween or butt in. Saying this from experience with a close pal whose hubby was doing it with a colleague for years before she found out. She got hysterical with him and he refused to open up.
And don't go to town with this even among close friends or family till you are sure and you've heard his side of it.
